To set up an election, the organizer must gather details such as: -Candidate information: Names, nicknames (if applicable), and positions. -Voter information: A .CSV file with unique IDs (assigned by the organizer), full names, subgroups (e.g., department, level, or category), phone numbers, and email addresses. Once these details are collated, the organizer can upload them to the platform to begin setting up the election.

To add voters to your election, ensure you have the .CSV Excel sheet containing the voters' information according to the format stated here: xxx. On the Voters page, click on the 'Add Voters to election' button or on the user dashboard, click on Votar forms among the icons in the left side of the page, scroll to the desired election, and click on the election you want to add voters to; on the next page displayed, click on the 'view responses' button at the top right, then click on the 'import voters' button at the top left to import the voters to the responses page. After the voters list has been checked and all errors have been cleaned from the table, click on the 'export to election' button to add the voters to the election.

On Votar Pro, after payment has been made for an election, the 'send' button will be active; check the checkbox for the voters you want to send their login credentials to and click the send button at the top of the page to send the login credentials to the selected voters.

If you are creating the election for the first time, on your dashboard, click the 'create an election' icon among the icons on the left side of the page, select the type of election you'd like to create; on the next page displayed, enter the details of the election, save this information with the 'save to proceed' button at the lower right of the page and you will be redirected to the ballot page where you can input all the details of the candidates for the election, click on the 'Save to proceed' button again to save what you've added.

When the election organizer have set up an election, they send out the login credentials to voters via email, text message or WhatsApp message. Among the links contained in the credentials sent, the voter can choose to go to their secret ballot page by clicking the link in the email according to the first login method stated, or they can choose to login with their election ID and Access code via the voters page according to the second method stated.

An election organizer can monitor an election by clicking on the 'monitor an election' icon among the icons at the left side on their dashboard, scroll and click on the election you want to monitor, on the next page to be displayed, links to monitor the election by total numbers only or by individual numbers will be displayed, copy the preferred link and paste it on a new tab to monitor the election.
